A Sara Steady Transporter has been purchased through our fundraising efforts to assist staff in safely helping patients move from sitting to standing and between locations such as beds, chairs and bathrooms.

This equipment provides secure support for patients who have limited mobility but are able to stand with assistance. It helps reduce the risk of falls, supports patient independence and also reduces physical strain on hospital staff when assisting with transfers and early mobilisation with dignity for the patient.
